Counselling Service
- The aim of counselling is to allow the opportunity for clients to talk and work through any issues that may be impacting on their life. This service is also available to family members and friends affected by someone else’s drug use.
- WFCDT offers counselling in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential
environment. Appointments can be arranged during office hours, and
in the case of a Monday, in the evening as well. Another option is
to use our free online counselling service

details.
- By being able to talk freely and openly in a way rarely possible with family and friends, clients can take time to explore the various aspects of their life and discuss their feelings in a private setting. This can reduce confusion and enable change to take place.
- Counselling does not involve giving advice or directing a client to follow a particular path. Instead it allows him or her to work through difficulties and to view them perhaps more clearly or from a different perspective.
- Our counsellor is fully qualified and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and works within their guidelines and ethics.
